Flickr FAQs

For answers to general questions about the TechDonation Programme, including registration and placing an order, please see Programme FAQs.

What is the Flickr Donation Programme?
As part of Flickr’s commitment to the voluntary sector, Flickr will be expanding its donation programme to better serve the nonprofit communities in Hong Kong.

The Donations programme is designed to meet the needs of small non-profits and to ensure they have access to Flickr technology they need to achieve their missions. By researching and working with small non-profits, there is an understanding of which products are most valuable to them and the appropriate number of licences to make available.

How can I find out if my organisation is eligible?
Please see Flickr Programme - Eligibility Criteria for further information.

How many products can I request?
During one fiscal year (1st July - 30th June) an organisation may request a single donation. For information on placing an order, please see Placing an Order FAQs.

How soon will we receive the donation?
Once your order has been accepted and processed, the normal turnaround time is up to 10 days.

What should I do if I require support?
We recommend that you visit Flickr's FAQ at  www.flickr.com/help/faq/.

What should I do if I need to renew my licences?
After one year, the pro account reverts to a free account unless it is renewed.  Free accounts have limits on the use that are not present in pro accounts.

What should I do if I want to return my order?
Returns cannot be accepted for this donation program.
