GiftWorks Eligibility Criteria (Macau)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Only organisations with annual operating budgets of $50,000 (USD) or less are eligible to receive a GiftWorks product.
  • This donation is available to charitable and non-profit organisations that are  that are registered under Identification Bureau of Macau SAR. (Code of Civil, Section article 154-172) and receiving subventions from the selected Bureaus of Macau SAR. [Note1]
  • Organisations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organisations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive donations.

Note 1:

The programme is currently in pilot stage and is only open to non-profit organizations receiving subvention from the Social Welfare Bureau. The programme will open to other Bureau’s subvented organisations and NGOs in the 2nd stage.

Supporting documents, including but not limited to, would be required:

1. Copy of your organisation's certificate for Associations registration issued from the Identification together with the leading cadre composition. (http://bo.io.gov.mo/bo/i/99/31/codcivcn/codciv0101.asp)

2. Copy of the successful application notification letter on subsidy request issued by the Social Welfare Bureau. For event base subvented organizations, only application notification letters with year in 2008 and beyond are accepted.


Guidelines 
  • One item request may be fulfilled within a fiscal year — 1 July to 30 June.
  • Products will be distributed under this programme to qualifying organisations, not to individuals.
  • Recipient organisations must be willing and able to provide information to GiftWorks for the purposes of creating a case study or testimonial on this programme.
  • GiftWorks products may not be transferred or resold.
