Features: 
  • Under the Software Assurance program, customers acquire the right to install any new release of products covered in the agreement during the term of their coverage.
  • Managers can enter and view task data in a variety of Gantt charts, in network diagrams, in entry sheets, and in forms; resource data in sheets, forms, and graphs; and assignment data by task or resource.
  • Costs can be tracked using either bottom-up or top-down budgeting.
  • Managers can track the progress of projects, monitor variances between project estimates and actual figures, and maintain historical records for better future planning.
  • Complex projects and multiple related projects can be organized and managed by consolidating them into a master project.
Description: 

With Project Professional 2007 project management software, managers can stay informed and control project work, schedules, and finances; keep project teams aligned; and be more productive through powerful reporting, guided planning, and flexible tools.

Among the additions to the 2007 version are report templates; Visual Reports, for producing charts and diagrams in both Excel and Visio; the Cost resource type; and the Task Driver pane, which shows prerequisites and constraints for a selected task.

This product can be used independently or integrated with Project Server 2007, Project Web Access, and optionally Project Portfolio Server as the Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) solution. Any application that accesses the services of Project Server requires a Project Server client access license (CAL). Project Professional 2007 comes with one CAL. This CAL can be used to access the server either directly or through Project Web Access, the Project Server Web client.

Installing this product requires a license key and installation media. If you don’t already have it, please request the free installation media when prompted during checkout.
